At the beginning of his career, Charlie served in a British Army reconnaissance regiment and then as a management consultant in EDS.

He has held senior, global positions in both HP and DXC. He was the COO of the HP/ Vodafone business and has led major internal global transformations and cost optimisation programmes for HP Enterprise Services. Charlie founded, launched and sold a mobile app business (social media and activity tracking) after his time at DXC and most recently, he has been the CFO of Telefónica Tech UK&I where he led all aspects of ESG and corporate sustainability in the UK&I for Telefónica.

Charlie has extensive experience in both business and finance operations, as well as deep, firsthand experience of post-acquisition integration. He is very P&L focused and is passionate about leveraging his experience and delivering tangible, sustainable value into transformacy's clients.

Richard’s extensive SME expertise is rooted in his time as Managing Director and owner running a scientific instrumentation business, where over 90% of sales revenue came from exporting worldwide. He also understands what is needed to generate value both for customers and for investors. In 2010, he acquired his business with the support of venture capital funding, private investment and a bank loan. After successfully completing a buy-back, he steered the business towards an ultimate sale to a plc.

Richard is very P&L focussed and has in-depth experience of what is needed to prepare a small business for a successful exit.  He enjoys working with owners and their management teams in preparing themselves and their business for what they face when they are considering realising the value they have worked hard to develop.

As a non-executive board member of several businesses, co-founder of a large e-commerce business and background in environmental consultancy, Ian brings a strong focus on changing business culture to reflect today's world and how businesses can adapt to incorporate environmental considerations. 

His previous experience includes founding and selling one of the EMEA’s most sustainable action-sport/lifestyle e-commerce businesses and shaping its operations, strategy, and culture to be sustainable whilst still delivering profitability.  

Additionally, Ian spent several years in consultancy helping customers at varying stages of growth introduce Business Intelligence (BI), providing internal and external data visibility and interrogation, which is crucial to understanding any business and the ways it can move forward both responsibly and sustainably.
